A Place To Escape To!

Sometimes the daily grind leaves me searching for a place to escape to. The web can take me anywhere without having to kick my cat off my lap! Whether I want to check out the latest tsunami that just hit Japan or take a look at something more peaceful like the sun set in Georgia The web can take me there! But now whats better than having my own home here on the web?

I live here in the south. No, I was not born here but I have made a home here. Once you get used to it its not that bad! Growing up in Phoenix Arizona, a HUGE city by any standards, the little southern town I now reside in was quite a culture shock for me. Life is slower, people are nicer and the shopping leaves a LOT to be desired. Thank goodness for online shopping!

I suppose I should tell you a litte about myself. Well, I have a wide variety of interests. Music, cats, make-up, new shoes and all that other "girl" stuff we seem to like. In addition to those more 'shallow' interests. I also have an interest in learning more about computers, web pages, FTP, and other relates topics. I figure I have some ability to learn because I have recently completed my Masters Degree in Counsleing and Psychology, which is another one of my interests. I suppose I should be looking for a job now instead of playing on the computer all the time!
